Kranlyft appoints Kanoo Cranes as new Maeda dealer

Kranlyft Group expands further with Magni Telescopic Handlers for the south of England

In December 2019, Kranlyft Group appointed Kanoo Cranes L.L.C of The Kanoo Group as the exclusive Maeda dealer for the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain. The distribution contract has been agreed and signed by the family member and acting CEO of Kanoo Group Fahad Kanoo and Kranlyft Group’s CEO Jurgen Vater. All sales activities for new models and aftermarket with service are henceforth managed by Kanoo Cranes in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain.

Kanoo Cranes L.L.C is a division of The Kanoo Group which is one of the largest family-owned businesses operating in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. Kanoo Cranes was created to focus on providing engineered crane solutions to the construction and industrial markets as well as the oil and gas industry. The Kanoo Group has more than 100 years of experience of trade and shipping with an impressive history going all the way back to the 19th century. The company has a strong reputation and has established itself as the crane professional in the region with the capability to take on a large scope of works and provide specific and innovative solutions.

Founded in 1963 the Kranlyft Group, have always been at the forefront of development in the lifting industry. Since the end of the ’90s, they have successfully represented mini cranes from the market-leading Maeda in Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East. Although they have broadened their machine portfolio to include additional brands, the Maeda mini cranes still remain their largest market.

Kanoo Cranes will handle a defined Maeda territory for sales, parts and services to increase the penetration of Maeda products and to support the Maeda machine park existing in the Gulf region. The company offers engineered solutions for any lifting requirements with knowledgeable experts engaged in the field of lifting with a large number of different crane types. With their already existing focus on premium brands and products specifically designed for the rental industry, they see great potential to expand with the Maeda Mini Cranes range.
