The largest Bauma ever held
This years exhibition in Munich attracted more than 620,000 visitors from over 200 countries. Making it the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles, and construction equipment. This is the best results in the exhibition’s 65-year history and shows for success. The number of visitors rose by about 40,000 over the total produced during the previous event in 2016. More than 250,000 visitors came from countries outside Germany. The top 10 visitor countries after Germany were: Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland and Great Britain. The trade fair also experienced a strong increase in attendance from overseas visitors. Significant gains in this group were produced by China, Australia and especially Japan. The number of exhibitors totaled about 3,700 from 63 countries – likewise a record. With its unprecedented 614,000 square meters of space, the largest Bauma ever held was once again a Bauma filled with records.

Founded in 2013, Magni Telescopic Handlers has become the leader in the development of the widest and most dynamic range of telehandlers in the world, from the highest lifting rotating telescopic handlers, to the heaviest capacity heavy-duty models.
This summer Maeda Seisakusho Company Ltd. will introduce a fully electric MC285C mini crane. With a powerful lithium-ion battery, the crane will operate with the same speed and precision as the regular MC285C-3. With emissions at zero, this is a part of the future.
Aros Mobilkranar AB has taken delivery of a new Magni RTH 5.21 SH in Sweden. The RTH 5.21 SH is a simple yet high-performance rotating telescopic handler. It can lift loads up to a height of 21 m, and is equipped with scissor stabilisers to ensure greater stability during manoeuvres.
The CC1908 is Maeda’s largest mini crawler crane to date, with a five section main boom offering a 20.1 metre maximum tip height and a maximum radius of 19.2 metres. Supplied with the 1.5 tonne fully hydraulic luffing jib this model can achive the toughest challenges.
