Maeda Mini Crane - MC815C

The Market Leading Maeda Mini Crane

The Maeda Mini Crane range consists of 13 impressive machines with lifting capacities spanning from 1.72 ton to 8.10 ton. Slim enough to fit through a standard door, these mini cranes (also known as spider cranes) can get you into the tightest of places where other machinery simply cannot get access. With its unique 5 section boom and a super slim profile these flexible cranes offer a range of power options including fully battery-powered, diesel/electric, petrol, petrol/LPG and pure diesel versions. Each crane delivers a capacity and reach equivalent to a much larger crane and can be used for both interior, exterior and underground locations.

Time and time again these innovative machines are proving their worth. From panelling and cladding, through the full spectrum of glass handling to restoration projects, specialist lifting applications or in restricted areas on domestic and construction sites. Their compact dimensions and great manoeuvrability are just some of many advantages that explains why they replace the need for much larger cranes.

Work smarter with Maeda mini cranes

Compact, Powerful and Flexible cranes

Established in 1962, Maeda Seisakusho Co., Ltd. has been growing to become market-leading in many segments. The Maeda mini crawler cranes are developed and manufactured by the Industrial Machinery Division which has won many prizes for their impeccable quality control. Maeda’s product range summarizes the essence of Japanese technology and manufacturing.

Maeda was the first to introduce fully battery-powered mini cranes and their popular models now offers innovative and sustainable solutions to various lifting needs. The green way of lifting provides an efficient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional cranes. With their zero-emission, unbeatable performance, and monitored battery life, mini cranes are the ideal lifting solution for companies seeking sustainable energy solutions. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Impressive dimensions

The smaller models with a body width of only 590 mm ~ 750 mm can travel through a standard single door for indoor use. The small size of the crane means it requires lesser space overall and can be maneuvered in confined spaces with ease.

Equipped with crawlers, travelling into confined area where bigger cranes or truck cranes cannot access is an easy job for the Maeda Mini Cranes.

Environmentally friendly

The Maeda Mini Crane offers innovative and sustainable solutions for lifting operations.

Maeda’s new battery-powered engine for example, offers zero-emissions. Which means it minimizes carbon footprint and eliminates harmful fumes altogether. The utilization of lithium-ion batteries in the crane also provides a sustainable power source that offers long-lasting service life lasting over 15 years, unmatched by traditional lead batteries. With the monitored battery life and energy-saving modes, the crane further reduces energy consumption and costs. Fully battery-powered mini cranes are marked with ‘ECO’ in the range overview.

For other models, the optional electric motor ensures work can be carried out cleanly indoors without any concern for gas emissions (for models MC285C-2 and up).

The lightweight design makes it easy to transport, reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions associated with transporting the crane. Furthermore, safety is a vital factor in eco-friendly operations as it minimizes the environmental hazards associated with accidents and damage to the surrounding environment.

Imagine the possibilities

Compact and light weight, mini cranes can be lifted up to a site by larger cranes or service elevators, then often used for various construction works such as material handling and curtain wall lifting from inside buildings or on roof tops. By stabilizing the body with its four outriggers, lifts of up to 8.0 t can be carried out. Even on a site with obstacles or on steps, outriggers make stable lifting work possible.

The solution to your needs

With up to 8.0 t capacity, MC series are used for many different applications such as construction, civil engineering and heavy load installation works.

Maeda’s winch uses a disk brake which is highly durable for continuous use. Operations can be carried out for a long period of time from roof tops or construction sites.
