Can we help your company raise the expectations of cranes?
In the middle of Sundbyberg, Stockholm Sweden, Edin’s Kranar´s operator Tommy Eriksson maneuvers glass partitions at astonishing heights at Swedbank’s new headquarters. Up to an impressive 47 meters up and above the roof and 8 meters in, the delicate glass sections are lifted into an indoor extension. But it’s not just about numbers; it’s about precision in handling and with the Klaas 1003 mobile crane, Tommy easily lifts a load of 620 kg onto the roof. The man behind the levers and the remote control, Tommy Eriksson, has operated the Klaas crane for about three years, and he is satisfied and not a little proud.
— I have driven various cranes during my career, but the Klaas 1003 stands out. It’s not just a machine; it is a reliable partner that makes every lift a success. It is clearly a challenge to lift with precision here along the busy street, but practice for 32 years makes perfect, says Tommy.
At new heights, both literally and figuratively, Edin’s team continues to redefine what is possible in the construction industry.
— The model that Edin´s uses has become indispensable for projects like these and the demand is increasing, which I am also happy about, says Klas Rolofsson, Area Sales Manager at Kranlyft Group, which delivered the crane. Development does not stand still and later models have several new practical and efficient accessories, concludes Klas.
Five really good things about the Klaas 1003 crane according to Edin´s crane operator Tommy Eriksson:
- Compact and lightweight, which makes it possible to drive almost everywhere in Stockholm.
- Easy to set up and self-levelling.
- Can be used with a man basket, but then you must not be afraid of heights.
- Can be operated by electric motor, if desired.
- Lifts high and far. Up to 52 meters straight up!
