Introducing the updated Maeda CC985S-2 and CC1485S-2
We are glad to announce two updated Maeda models, the CC985S-2 and the CC1485S-2. The updates make two of the popular crawler crane models even more versatile. One of the biggest improvements are the engines. The ISUZU diesel engines meet requirements for the new gas emission standards of EU Stage V and deliver 44.6kW / 2,000rpm rated output. Resulting in the cranes being even more environmentally friendly than their predecessors.
Hydraulic safety valve, Overwind protection, Level, Safety lock lever, Tilt alarm, EMO switch, Moment limiter, LED working status lamp, Rearview camera, Data logger and Slew restriction device(only on the CC1485S-2) comes as standard. Available options are Rubber pads, Single fall hook, Blade, Fly jib and Searcher hook.
With a 16.5m working height on the CC985S-2 and a 16.7m working height on the CC1485S-2, an improved 7” multi-function monitor and a massive 2000kg pick and carry capacity, these crane offers improved features coupled with great lifting duties..
Some of the key features of the models are as follows:

- Wide view roof window
- Programmable moment limiter
- 7″ multi monitor
- 4 fall / 2 fall hook block
- Rear view camera

Work smarter – the green way of lifting
The approach and the way of thinking when using mini cranes is quite different from traditional crane work. A mini crane can come close to the object that is being lifted and therefore replaces big cranes with long booms which by their size actually distance themselves from the load. Having tried a Maeda crawler crane, you know how very easy and safe they are to operate. Time and time again we can witness the versatility and vastness be demonstrated of the Maeda mini cranes alongside the direction of future lifting work. With these EU Stage V compliant engines we can proudly be a part of building the future with lower emissions. The ever-evolving market is moving to a green way of lifting, and Maeda has now shown that they are playing a key role in the advancements.
