Dewsbury & Proud are dedicated to Maeda Mini Cranes

UK crane company Dewsbury & Proud has established themselves as an experienced and competent partner with highly skilled lifting teams and technical staff. The company was founded in 1977 and has then developed a first-class reputation with an emphasis on quality of service, safety and reliability. Important traits that have become a big part of their core values. With a modern fleet of over 40 cranes based across four strategic placed depot’s they have expanded and in-bedded themselves as the largest independent crane hire company in the Midlands.

Tim Proud, owner of Dewsbury & Proud, has recently taken delivery of a new Maeda MC405 that will strengthen both their crane hire services and contract lifting services. This latest addition is one of many Maeda Mini Cranes in their fleet and they are looking to increase the range even further. Since the demand for eco-friendly solutions has grown rapidly their next purchase will most likely be a fully electric-powered crane from Maeda. In addition to its high build quality and durability, Maeda cranes offer improved accessibility and flexibility, increased lifting duties, and computerised safety features.

The Maeda MC405 was ordered back in January, custom painted in the companies signature colours. It was delivered in February with the option of a 1500kg capacity Searcher Hook. Tim Proud bought it from Simon Marnock working for the exclusive Maeda distributor Kranlyft UK, based in Bristol. At the time of delivery, Simon meet up with Tim Proud and hire manager Natalie Woods in order to ensure that everything went smoothly and the machine met their expectations.

Shortly after delivery, the Maeda MC405 was transported to its first job site in Derbyshire. A +20 weeks long hire where it will assist on a historic grade two listed site, building bespoke sustainable lodges. An assignment that requires both precise and careful handling, large flexibility, and high safety.
